However the plug on the bottom we couldn’t get off. So if we put money in it, it would have to be broken to get the money out.I gave this to my cousins on their 50th Wedding anniversary. She had told me a story about a car, her father and at the time her fiance now hubby, and their long driveway! This reminded me of that story she told me and it fit right in. Her godmother (my mom) loved banks and for this to be a bank was like it was coming from her from heaven as well as from me.Contray to a couple of prissy reviews on other sites, this bank which we used as a monetary gift collector & then as a cake topper, received complimentary comments from family & friends. It was a hit! The 7" length was a reasonable size. The red box it came in was a typical box but who cares about the box? It's the gift that counts. The car was well-appreciated by the anniversary couple.
